Chinese Lantern Festival | December 2016 | 614 Mom

The Sunday after Thanksgiving, we bundled up the kids and we headed to the Ohio Chinese Lantern Festival.  This was a new experience for all of us but it's safe to say that it's a new favorite. My kids have already asked when we can go back and my husband and I really enjoyed it.  The larger than life illuminated displays are crafted by Chinese artisans from Zigong, Sichuan.  You can also enjoy nightly performances at 6:30 and 8 as well as a 9:30 show added for Friday and Saturday evenings only.  Craft and food vendors are on site with one of a kind traditional Chinese crafts to purchase and plenty of delicious food for everyone.

I would highly recommend this as a fun family event! My kids loved the lights and it was an easy and enjoyable path all the way through.
