The Irish Fairy Door Trail in Dublin, Ohio

The Dublin Convention & Visitors Bureau and The Irish Fairy Door Company teamed up to bring us a really fun family activity in the heart of downtown Dublin.  It officially opened yesterday and I was lucky enough to be able to attend the ribbon cutting and meet some of the amazing people who came over from Ireland to launch this in the States.

How it works

*Start at the Dublin Visitors Center (9 S. High St.) and pick up your passport and look for the very first fairy door and write down the fairy's name on your passport.

*Allow your passport to guide you to the other 6 locations (all within walking distance) to find the remaining fairy doors.   Don't forget to write down their names and when your passport is filled stop by the visitors center to deliver your completed passport to receive your FREE Irish Fairy Door of Dublin t-shirt

The Irish Fairy Door Company started in Ireland with fairy doors for purchase, a whole line of doors, accessories and books for your fairy.  Once you purchase a door you can register your fairy online and when you do it gives you a lease agreement (rules for the fairy and the little human friend)

It's such a cute idea and I'm really looking forward to seeing where our door will take my little one's creativity.   Enjoy some of our pictures from the day.
