Everything You Need To Know About Butch Bando’s Fantasy of Lights | 614 Mom | Columbus, OH
Thank you Butch Bando’s for sponsoring this post. As always all thoughts and opinions remain my own.
December is one of my favorite months of the year because it’s all about time with family, making gingerbread houses, parties, and pretty lights. One of my favorite traditions is packing the car with my family in their pajamas, complete with hot chocolate and yummy snacks and as we drive around to look for neighborhoods with beautiful lights. The only problem with that is that it’s hard to know where the best lights are and it changes year after year - except for the amazing Butch Bando’s Fantasy of Lights in Alum Creek.
We recently discovered Fantasy of Lights and I am so glad we did - our Decembers will never be the same. :-) Butch Bando’s Fantasy of Lights is a drive thru light show located at the Alum Creek State Park Campgrounds. The show runs seven days a week from November 16-January 1, 2019. Pricing is based on the day of the week and the type of vehicle you are in. Scroll down to learn more about the pricing structure.

The show is open through rain, shine, sleet, and on the major holidays. Looking for something fun to do on Christmas Eve? The Fantasy of Lights is my recommendation.
Pricing is per vehicle and includes everyone in the car. If you’re driving a car or SUV the pricing is $20 Monday-Thursday and $30 on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. If you’re in a bigger vehicle like a limo, large van, or RV you are looking at $40, Motor Coach is $60, and buses are $100.
They have their own radio station! Be sure to ask when you buy your ticket so you can listen to the most festive music while looking at the beautiful lights.
Military Appreciation Show is December 26 & 27. Active Duty & Spouses get in free on those nights and Veterans get in for $10. Thank you for your service.
After you’ve spent the time driving through looking at the beautiful light show you can stop by Santa’s House at Cross Creek Camping Resort for hot chocolate, cookies, and of course Santa.
