No Resolution Needed! This is the Year of Acceptance.

Hi Friends!

As you spend today preparing for the new year, I hope you are buying all of the champagne and stocking up on all of the 2020 headbands at Target.  I hope that you are not obsessing over your new year’s resolutions or stressing because you don’t know what your word of the year should be.  If these things come naturally for you – that’s great! I’m happy for you. If it’s stressful – do as Elsa does and…let it go.

For those of us that find setting these large (and lengthy) goals to be overwhelming – I get you.  I see you.  To those of us who see this time of year as a fresh start and love breaking open your brand new calendar and writing in it for the first time – I get that too! I’m right there with you. It is so fun to put pen to paper in my new notebooks and planners.

Let’s ring in 2020 with the freedom to just be who we are. Brave, Strong, and Kind humans who try every single day to live our lives to the fullest.

Regardless of where you fall on the resolutions or no resolutions, I want you to know a few very important things.

This is the year of acceptance.

5 Things I Need You To Know

1.       You are an incredible human.  You don’t need to lose weight, read one book a week, or go gluten-free to know just how amazing you are.

2.       Kindness matters.  Be kind to yourself and to others. Everyone needs a little kindness and it’s the best gift you can give to the world.

3.       Being a parent is hard but you’re strong.  You’ll get through whatever comes your way.  I believe in you.

4.       The number on the scale is just a number.  It does not define you. You are beautiful.

5.       I’m thankful that you’re part of my life. I love hearing from you and getting to meet you so please reach out, attend the events, or shoot me an email. I am always here if you need anything at all.

I’m excited to bring you some really cool things in 2020 but for now…enjoy your family, be kind to everyone and love yourself
