B.O.S.S. Fitness

As I'm writing this I am thinking back to that Sunday Mother's Day brunch just a few short months after having my youngest son when my mom was talking about her personal trainer and how much she enjoyed going to the gym and how she loved the entire group that worked there.  She offered to me, as a Mother's Day present, a 3 month membership, so that I could get into shape for a wedding I was in the following August.  I said yes for a couple reasons, one because I was feeling really bad about myself and the weight I just couldn't seem to shake and two because I was really looking forward to challenging myself.

I am so glad that my mom offered that membership to me, and that I accepted.  Here we are a year and a half later and I am down past my goal weight, I'm  healthier than I've ever been, and I have gained friendships that will last a lifetime.

James and Taj are amazing personal trainers, they push me to be better, they remind me why I'm there on the hard days, and they listen to me talk...a lot...because I enjoy talking to them and because sometimes I just need to talk so that my 20 minutes on the stair master feels shorter.  :)  I am stronger than before, they got me below goal weight, and most importantly I feel better.

Just like any other "me time" activity I sometimes find it hard to get there with kids and work schedules and it's easy to tell the weeks I haven't been there because I'm a little grumpy, but I try really hard to get there at least four times a month (or more), because it is so worth it.

I highly suggest checking them out, you won't regret it. In fact you'll probably be really happy you did.  Call them, talk to Alex and get on the schedule.
