Glitteracy
Please allow me to introduce to you, Chelsea, from Glitteracy! She is an Ohio lover, an amazing artist, and she has such a big heart. You may know her work from the 614 Mom logo or from one of the 10 stores that carry her work in Ohio but I'm sure you know her stuff, and if you don't enjoy some of these pictures and then head to her Etsy shop to browse some more. :-) I asked Chelsea if we could chat and if I could share her answers with all of you and she happily said yes. Tell us a little about yourself!
Hey everyone! I'm Chelsea Dipman of Glitteracy Art & Design. I love mint green and gold, watercolor, calligraphy, Ohio, and anything that sparkles! I'm an art teacher by day and an artist and designer in all my extra free time! I l love that I get to explore creativity with children and then explore on my own later on. I was born and raised in Ohio and although I get wanderlust all the time, Ohio will always be home. I love creating artwork that Ohioans can connect with, hang up, wear, stick on their cars, send to loved ones etc. It's been a wonderful journey so far!
What started your passion for the arts?
My passion for the arts has been as long as I can remember. I love taking something blank and creating something beautiful. I have always love the idea of sending my creations out into the world. I love the feeling when someone says they love your work and want to support you as a small business with a purchase. I dove head first into the Ohio art genre and have added many more designs to my original watercolors, and have now delved into accessories, tee shirts, stickers, and more.

Since this is 614 Mom, we have to know...what do you love about Columbus?
I love the amazing assortment of places to explore including awesome restaurants, a growing amount of craft breweries, and unique shops! I love that in Columbus people will great a perfect stranger and hold the door for them. Columbus has the midwest charm with the metropolitan atmosphere. And when we love something in CBUS we love it. How about those buckeyes haha? OH-
Is there anything else you'd love for Columbus to know about you and your business?
I love creating logos and branding designs for small businesses. I also do custom watercolors and paintings. This holiday season I will be at Craftin' Outlaws November 14, Columbus Handmade November 22, Not Your Mama's Craft Market November 28th, Avant Garde December 5th, and Made Local Marketplace December 12th!
